You haven’t seen the real beast yet – Baptista
Julio Baptista has urged Arsene Wenger to give him starts in Arsenal’s Premiership campaign.
The on-loan Real Madrid man has scored twice against Tottenham and four times against Liverpool to take is tally to six League Cup goals.
However, Baptista has just three Premiership starts to his name and wants to show what he can do in the league.
“I am in my best form right now and need to exploit that and show what I can do in the Premiership,” said Baptista.
“My goals are not down to good fortune. English football has not seen the real Beast.”
Arsenal better than Chelsea – Gallas

William Gallas has said that Arsenal are a better team than Chelsea. Gallas was sold by Chelsea as part of the deal which took Ashley Cole to Stamford Bridge.
He believes Chelsea are paying the consequences now.
“They are paying for it now – they are short of a defender,” he told the News of the World.
“But I don’t want to pay attention to what they are doing anymore.
“It was painful to leave at the time, but there was a big lack of respect for me from certain people inside Chelsea.
“I put in 100 per cent for five years. Now I have turned the page. “Arsenal is all that matters. It was a huge moment to beat Man United last week. It was clear Arsenal are better than Chelsea.
“Now we are feel we are back in the title fight, we really believe it.”
Van Man undergoes surgery
Robin van Persie underwent surgery in Holland today and if reports are to be believed, he could be out of action till April. He broke his fifth metatarsal while scoring the first goal against Manchester United last sunday. Arsenal have six of their first team players injured or suspended.

Hleb out for a month

Alexander Hleb could be out of action for almost a month. He picked up a hamstring injury in the first leg Carling Cup tie against Tottenham.
We lost Van Persie on Sunday and now we have lost Hleb.” “Hleb has done his hamstring and it doesn’t look too good,” said Wenger.
